Feedback in OneNote

Giving effective feedback to students to help them improve their work is a fundamental job for a teacher.


OneNote makes it easy for teachers to access students work so is a great vehicle to give feedback.

Check out the 7 ways to give feedback in OneNote:

  1. Digital inking - highlighting and annotating
  2. Word tools - open an attached Word doc and use the review tools or ink directly on the document
  3. Audio - record audio that is embedded on the page
  4. Rubrics - attach a rubric to the original task or paste it in
  5. Video - record yourself giving feedback or use a screencasting tool
  6. Stickers - personalise the message - great for younger students
  7. Peer - use the collaboration space to get students doing some peer feedback
